In the wild, Armillaria mellea naturally grows on decaying hardwoods in mountain forests and is often found in association with Gastrodia elata (Tian Ma) — a parasitic orchid that depends entirely on Armillaria for its nutrition. This natural coexistence reflects a unique ecological harmony recognised in Chinese herbal traditions.


MycoNutri™’s Honey Mushroom combines wild-harvested fruiting bodies from this natural environment with Submerged (deep-liquid) fermented mycelium, uniting traditional authenticity with modern consistency to deliver a balanced and reliable source of key active compounds. These include polysaccharides, nucleoside derivatives, and indole compounds such as serotonin and 5-HTP. Our formulation is standardised to contain >40% Beta-glucans.
