Japanese name - Reishi or Mannetake (10,000 year mushroom) Chinese name - Ling Zhi (spirit mushroom - mushroom of spritual potency) The 'mushroom of immortality' of Chinese legend, Reishi is rich in active polysaccharides as well as the triterpenoid compounds (primarily ganoderic and lucidenic acids) responsible for many of its wide-ranging benefits.
